Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to DriveDesk. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. The service

DriveDesk helps learner drivers, instructors and driving schools manage lesson bookings, learning progress, practice plans, lesson credits, payments and reminders. Driving instruction is provided by the relevant driving school or instructor, not by the DriveDesk software.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use DriveDesk. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you must have that consent.

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and promptly tell your driving school if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

3. Bookings and cancellations

Lesson availability, scheduling, pickup arrangements, lateness, cancellations and refunds are subject to the policies of the driving school providing the lesson. DriveDesk may show or apply those policies when a booking is made or cancelled. A booking is not guaranteed until it is confirmed in the app.

4. Packages, credits and payments

Lesson package prices, included minutes and availability are set by the driving school. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Lesson credits are added only after payment is confirmed.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred unless the school agrees, and may be used only for eligible lessons with the issuing school. Refund rights are governed by applicable law and the school's stated cancellation and refund policy.

5. Instructor records and learning progress

Instructors may record lesson notes, skill ratings and progress. These records are educational guidance and do not guarantee that a learner will pass a driving test or is safe or legally qualified to drive without supervision.

6. AI practice plans

AI-generated practice plans are provided as optional learning support. They may contain errors or unsuitable suggestions. Always follow road law, official guidance and the instructions of a qualified instructor. Do not rely on an AI plan where it conflicts with professional advice or safety requirements.

7. Notifications

Lesson reminders are a convenience and may be delayed, blocked or unavailable because of device settings or technical conditions. You remain responsible for checking your booking details and attending lessons on time.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use DriveDesk unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person.
  • Access another user's account or data without permission.
  • Interfere with security, availability or normal operation of the service.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, scrape or resell the service except where law expressly permits it.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes another person's rights.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep DriveDesk available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or service improvement.

10. Suspension and account closure

Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, if required by law, or if needed to protect users or the service. You may request account deletion by contacting the driving school that issued your account or your DriveDesk school administrator. Some records may be retained where legally required.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, DriveDesk is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, missed reminders, instructor conduct, driving outcomes, or events outside reasonable control. Your driving school remains responsible for the lessons and services it provides.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to DriveDesk or the law. The current version and revision date will be available here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Applicable consumer rights and governing law depend on the driving school providing your service and your location. For questions, complaints or account requests, contact the driving school that issued your account or your DriveDesk school administrator.
